What happens a lot- people buy fakes..... they order real items from amazon.... then repack and return the fake to amazon...

amazon takes a quick look at the return and moves on..... later the fake is sold to someone else....

All that article says is the FBI use AWS for data and database management. They could also be using Google and Microsoft data storage services.

Nothing about Amazon retail supplying customer data to the FBI.

I remember a blip about it either on the radio or news about two years ago, but I forgot where. This is what I found on Google. Think about the ever expanding red-flag laws.

If it was the $121 item on Amazon, that was a seller in NY who likely doesn't want to deal with the CA laws, so skirts them by not selling to CA. Not like the NY laws are any better, but what are you going to do?

Cancelled Amazon prime and have-not placed an order with them since they came out against Trump/Free speech/ America first.

There was another reason that I have since forgotten, maybe BLM or Parler, I forget but know I will NEVER place another amazon order and Amazon is not alone, there are many more that do not deserve support, including Apple .

That said, initially it was a painful process losing Prime TV and easy shopping experience .
Since then we have found free Tubi that has so many movies to enjoy and far more entertaining than anything from Netflix or Prime.

Walmart/Overstock have many items I would have bought through amazon and are frequently cheaper too.

I loved Apple and Amazon but will use alternatives, even if I resort to a flip phone. My freedom is more important than any service or product !

Lots of other vendors out there without tge chance of getting a fake optic. Midway, Brownells, primary arms to name a few.
