Can you turn the pin so it pulls out and stops with the detent pin?

I removed the buttons and pins. Did not feel comfortable using them. I just use a YHM extended pin with the Juggernaut bolt stop replacement.

Make sure you have the pin turned the proper way.

OP make sure they didn’t send you the bottom feed detent version instead of the rear detent version. This has happened to me once. Good luck!

That's not going to work in standard AR lower.
The bottom detent version is specifically made for nonstandard lowers where the detent comes at the takedown pin from the bottom.
That requires some features to be turned 90 degrees on the part in order for the pin to hit the locking pin from the bottom and have the lug clearance cut be on the top.

Return that pin and get a standard one.
