    MidwayUSA - M1 Carbines

Wonder what pricing is going to be?

More than they should be is my guess. Still, my favorite firearm ever. I've had at least one since I was 10 years old.

Now, will they have good magazines for them?

KCI are reputed to be good. So are new-in-wrapper WW2 mags.

Chris Baker at LuckyGunner has an interesting series on the M1Carbine, one is https://www.luckygunner.com/lounge/m...e-reliability/ 'Setting expectations' is a good summary.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

I'm old enough to have carried a carbine for work, and I spent a bunch of time sorting mags. The M2 mags worked the best in that particular gun, so I've stuck with them. Granted I didn't have a bunch of options at the time.

My 2 cents on a carbine if you don't have one and/or don't care about it as an historical artifact: If it's not significantly cheaper than a Fulton Armory, buy the Fulton. Especially if you want to shoot it a bunch.

But problematic for kalis. They either have to get original ones ruined by having someone rivet them, or try to find 10 rounders, if anyone makes them. Or find and ruin Korean mags?

My guess is they have the guns available now and are seeing what kind of interest they can drum. Price will be dictated on interest level.

The ProMag 10 rounders work great for carbines FYI
