LSB in Simi Valley mentioned above or other auction house can take all guns, factory ammunition, reloaded ammunition (will be sold for components value only), reloading equipment and supplies, gun cases, scopes, accessories, knives, swords and related militaria.
LSB can purchase them outright or put them up for auction less a commission.
It can be sold out of state with no restrictions.

Do not nderestimate the value of your husbands collection. It could be quite sizable and there's no hurry for getting rid of them.

Also, I'd seriously consider keeping a couple along with ammo for your own self defense. And if you are afraid of guns, take a good training class.

I have question regarding selling guns.

My husband passed away few weeks ago, he had bunch of gun collections and I questions about selling guns.

        1. I would like to list it which gun is under is name. Is there any way I can look for which gun is under his name from online?

        2. When selling guns what is the best option? Should I hire lawyer to list guns and let him/her to sell it or should I take all of the guns to the gun shop?

        3. He collected lots of amo. How do I get rid of it?

        Thank you.

I went through this with the wife of a very close friend about 2 years ago. I'm truly sorry for you loss and having seen the stress this sort of thing brings.

The problem with auctions is unless very high end items they are not going to allow a reserve so it's like gambling. With consignments to a gun shop you are in control of what a gun sells for.

The more the store makes the more you make so it's in their interest for them to price them fairly. Auctioning guns can be fun but it's horrible when one you put up to be auctions goes for much less than expected. But also nice of course when people get auction fever and way overpay.

Sorry for your loss. Don’t rush to sell and figure out what you can and want to use before selling
