    DROS Delayed

    So did a PPT at Bass Pro R.C on 4/21 and got a call on 4/25 saying it has been delayed. Looks like the DROS has all the correct info, I do not have a Real ID but it is an older DL that does not say Federal Limits apply not sure if this can cause an issue. I just bought ammo a couple weeks ago with no issues and the only thing I had was an unpaid speeding ticket that I immediately paid once I received the delay but there was nothing against my license. I'm suppose to pick up on Monday but I'll call to say if there's any change before I show up. Last time I bought a rifle was in 2014 but haven't had anything besides a speeding ticket since then.

    I hear it's pointless calling CA DOJ and you must do a live scan to see what's on your record.

    What's been others experience with delays?

      "DELAYS" are seemingly random, and are NEVER explained by DOJ. Even before the Covid surge in buying.

      Hopefully you chose a FFL for the transfer that "RELEASES ON UNDETERMINED".

              Could also be BassPro idiot compliance legal dept. My middle name is fully spelled out on my passport but my CA DL has only middle initial, BassPro San Jose would not even run the ammo check, saying the names must match exactly, even though I just bought a gun from them last Christmas.

                  I don't think Bass Pro releases on undetermined. I'll ask Monday to see if they do and if there has been a status change.

                  I double checked the DROS and all my info that the copied and everything matches so don't think that's the issue.

                      So I just called to get an update on status and they are saying that they dont get such info that I would be receiving it in the mail from the CA DOJ. From what Ive read from other posts is that people have been calling their FFLs to see if it has changed. The whole PPT process has just been a pain in the butt with them.

                      Update: Called me 20 min after saying he made a mistake and that I was approved.
