WaPo/ABC News polled +1,000 American adults and found the following:
Americans are overall less supportive of new gun control laws than in 2018.
For people between 18-29, 45% believe we need new gun laws to prevent mass shooting. That number was 65% in 2018.
Preference for enacting new gun laws aimed at reducing firearm violence has dropped by 7% overall since 3 year ago and percentage drops were seen in nearly every demographic.
Maybe people are sick of politicians flapping their gums about new gun laws everytime there's a mass shooting because all these new gun laws don't seem to prevent future shootings.
