It seems that some of the ammo panic buying craze may have crested.

There are more auctions for .45 at lower prices than there have been in the last two months.

Some guys are still looking for .75 a round for PD ammo, but standard 230 grain ball ammo prices have dropped from the high that I observed of .752 a round to .48 a round, by the case (1k rounds)

if you keep your bid to what you want to spend and not go up if you're out bid you wind up with a lot of ammo, ask me how I know. Hope the wife stays out of the hall closet.
