Shooting/ training parter in East Bay

Hey there, this is my first post on Calguns so forgive me for any beginner mistakes.

I'm a new competitive shooter in the East Bay, looking to get more serious this season, competing in some major matches, etc.

Trying to find someone thats been in the sport a while and that I could train with to get better or to help coach me.

If you have access to a range or open area to shoot, thats ideally what I'm looking for. If any of you are ROs at RRGC thats a plus since that's my home range, but im willing to drive so long as its reasonable.

If y'all know someone that could help me out that would be great!
    Thanks again.

Free training may be tough to come by. There are lots of good training groups that you can pay for training from, though.

If you are around Richmond this Saturday, I'm ROing the Action Range during the public practice from 9:30am to 1:30pm. I'd be happy to talk to you a little bit about improving technique (I'm one of the New Competitor Class instructors and long-time competition shooter).
My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.

Like for Steel Challenge and USPSA?
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

What type of competition is of interest?
        Keep it simple!
