What is a good trap thrower?

Since my main clay thrower is moving away for college, looking for a good auto thrower that I can use by myself. One that I can step on a pedal or something similar to trigger it. Any good recommendations? Thanks.

I got this as an open box for 90, well worth it for self gratification. You will have to make sure your barrel is up so the arm doesn't hit it accidentally. But this means it can only go out and a way from you. The other auto models can swing in an arc and you can set it far away from you for more random options.

What I learned is that it can chuck one really fast and far, shorter when you put two stacked on top of each other. With 2 it also goes to the right a little so you'll have to compensate.

Used exterior-rated telephone wire to extend the foot switch a couple hundred feet to allow setting the thrower up wherever we want for more difficult angles.

My brother is pretty good with one of the Orange hand throwers, but I could have bought a really nice electric one with all the beer money required to keep him going.

Do you have to move it or will it be a permanent install?

A good portable machine is very different from a professional machine that has a permanent location.
