    What are normal ammo prices?

Obviously everything is chaotic right now but I'm doing my best to look forward to what is ahead. I think knowing what ammo USUALLY costs would assist in this:

    9m?

    .45?

    .357?

    .223?

    5.56?

    300blk?

If you're wanting to know what common ammo cost about 18 months ago to predict what it may cost in the near future - I don't think that will work. Certainly not here in CA.
I have not bought much ammo after around 2018 or so when they banned buying online & delivered to your house. This was my basic pricing guideline:
                              FMJ 9mm - anything under $10 for a box of 50.
                              FMJ .45 - under $15/ box of 50.
                              .357 Mag- under $20/50 I was interested.
                              .223 - $5 to $6 for a box of 20
                              5.56 - bought if under $7/ box of 20
I only bought brass case ammo and US brands mostly.

Also keep in mind before the mail order ban I was buying lots of ammo at these prices or less with free shipping and NO sales tax.

I don't think we'll ever see conditions like that again here in CA. Doubt this helps you but you asked. Good luck.
