It's a quality 9mm for sure, probably the best one out there for the money. I've shot mine at 20 yards at the range and was blown away at how tight the group was. It's stock.

I was just shocked there was a local shop selling it for well under $1k. Some of the other shops in Sac have been pricing them between $900-1100

If it's not going on the nightstand, making it SAO is fun.

I love mine. I bought it "used" although it seemed the prior owner hadn't put many rounds through it. I went relatively cheap with the mods: 13lb hammer spring and reduced firing pin spring. Also I load light so I went with a reduced recoil spring although I don't remember the weight. Then some slim Lok grips because my hand is small.

I did put on an extended left safety from CGW. Pretty easy install with just a little bit of filing to make it fit.

The SP01 is an ok gun. I had one and didnt care for it. So I traded it and ended up getting a Tactical Sports when they were on the roster. Really apples to oranges comparison, but I prefer the TS so much so that I have no desire for an SP01.

                congrats...best less spending is
                13 lb Hammer spring
                11 lb Recoil spring
(extended firing pin+light spring...for hard primers)

then all you need at this time, try it if you like it. then upgrade with Cajun

                enjoy

pre-COVID, it was a $650 gun a CA market and $550 gun in free states.

Install CGW ProPackage and you will not regret it. Crisp 3lb SA pull and old skool 75/85 style trigger to replace OE hook style trigger

My turn came up yesterday after only 3 weeks of being on the list.
Now my mind is filled with rubber tires, and forest fires
                      And whether I'm a liar,
And lots of other situations where I don't know what to do,
At which time God screams to me "There's nothing left for me to tell you."
