The SSE aka "Single SHOT Exemption", for semi auto pistols is "no longer an option". As a conversion of an existing semi auto.

The SAE, aka "Single ACTION Exemption". Is still available. This exemption is used to convert Double Action Revolvers to Single Action.

Or to transfer revolvers that are already single action by design. All single action pistols, by definition, are not affected by the roster.

All single action pistols with at least a 3" barrel, 7.5" or greater OAL, and 5+ shot cylinder, by definition are not affected by the roster.

^thanks. of course the specifics always matter. I was just pointing out it doesn't have to be a formerly-double-action to count.
