    Shipping ammo for sale?

I have 500rds of .40 to sell. If I sell here to someone in CA, can I ship it to their FFL for the transfer?
If so, anything special on my end to be done?
I feel sick having to ask this ridiculous question, by the way.

I've shipped ammo before and know the shipping rules but haven't shipped since these BS new rules.
If someone's says they'll "take it", I can ship to their place of transfer and then all paperwork is on them?
Do I just put their name on the box 'attn'?

Ship to FFL with their name on it, get cash up front and tell em they will need to pound sand if dros doesn’t go through for whatever reason

As the seller, don't you have to include a copy of your ID for the DROS?

Just curious. I don't really know for sure.

It's always a good idea to put a note inside the box with your address and contact info in case something happens to the addressee label on the outside of the box.

One question: why? You're not selling an odd caliber. Sell it FTF.

Annoyance. Closest FFL that deals with ammo is 1+ hour from me. Then I have to schedule with a possible flake.
