    Kudo to Ammo Bros, Cerritos.

Just finished the process on a PPT pick up today. Ethan helped us originally and was very efficient and helpful during the original paperwork phase.

The pick up today was equally effortless and smooth.

We all understand PPT's don't put much money into the bottom line for FFL's...if any at all. I always buy something extra while there.

Just want to give credit where credit is due..Ammo Bros Cerritos did a great job from start to finish.

Well, glad yours went all right.

Just recently, there were a bunch of reports of bad service and attitude from that store.

#1 - We just came back from cerritos, and everything went smooth no problems to report.

2nd - You could always use the Del Taco place before / after your visit.

I just came back from there, and i hit up del taco before i went shopping - i was expecting a long wait, but it wasn't that bad.

In stock items are still very limited.

Kudos to you OP, for looking out for the FFLs and buying something while you’re there. Most people don’t think of that sort of thing.

I do the same except at Oak Tree. Because screw them.

Very few gun shops have a restroom they will let the public use.

Sure, if you don't mind some bastard lying to you. And denying you the right to fill out a "Safe Affidavit". "Cause they are only for long guns".

So that they can sell you one of their Cheezy Chinee locks with their name on it.

And waste a half hour to an hour. While they fill out what amounts to 5 minutes of paperwork at a GOOD FFL.

Sure go right ahead and support a business that lacks integrity or scruples.

I was a loyal patron of the Bros from when D&D opened their first store. Other end of same strip mall. In 2005 til 2015. And Yes, I always purchased "extras" when doing PPTs.

Now, after being lied to and called a liar, who was supposedly trying to get them to do illegal stuff. And get them closed down.

NOW, if their store was on fire. I would not contribute even a cup of piss to put it out.

How long did the PPT take?
More than 30 minutes is no good.
                      30 minutes is mediocre.
                      15-20 minutes is considered "good".
15 minutes or less is "excellent".

A/B. Cerritos refused to let me use my exempt police issued child safety lock for a PPT a few years back. They made me buy one of theirs... cold day in heck before I shop there again.

BINGO...........15 min X4 = $40 an Hr. I seriously doubt that there is NO money to be made doing PPT.

In 1990. That same $10 was worth a little over twice what it is today.

And FFLs were on board and supportive of DROS. BECAUSE OF THE PPT INCLUSION. Which funneled EVERY gun buyer through their doors.

Now MANY FFLs waste their time Beotch'n, pissing, moaning, groaning, complaining, and whining about loss of money. Rather than just doing their jobs [that they wanted] in an efficient method.

AND spend time [which is money] arguing with, and lying to customers about SAFE AFFIDAVITS and the piddly $2 they will make off of a Cheezy Chinee lock.

I assume you base this on when you actually start paperwork not when you get in line.
