I laugh when I see posts about Biden and gun control. His entire campaign was riddled with gun control rhetoric. Give him credit, he’s a politician that is actually going to act on one of his campaign promises. Are you really surprised?? Mass shootings or not, this was going to happen. They need to push all these agendas thru before mid term when HOPEFULLY we take some seats back in the senate and house to curb the madness.

The problem is that if they get rid of the filibuster, they will pass it all and Biden/Harris will sign it. Without veto proof 2/3 majorities in both houses to repeal it with republican control of congress, or simple majorities and a Republican president (MAYBE in 2025) everything they do now without a filibuster will stay in effect for 4 years or more. THEY KNWO THIS!

Just remember some states and counties have in place already legislation that prevents ANY federal legislation from actually being enforced. Unfortunately if you live in a blue or liberal state this will apply to you. Even a lot of red states this will apply to but it will not apply to rural counties and states that have passed laws specifically for this action. Any second amendment infringement will not be supported or enforced, regardless of what former Vice President Biden Biden signs into law if it passes the senate.

It happened during the Clinton AWB from 94-04 and it will happen again. I see it as it affects all liberal states and some conservative states, but not all. I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it.

Well, frankly, this mass shooting isn't what the Democrats were hoping for. It's turned out that the shooter is a Muslim Syrian refugee. It looks like the leftist media is already starting to downplay it and move along. This one won't have the legs they were hoping for.

You forget that manufacturers, distributors and dealers are Federally regulated. Your state laws are meaningless in the new american socialist republic. Makers go under from lawsuits and the ATF smacks down any licensed dealer who sales if there is even anything to sell.
