            Dates to keep in mind...

            01-01-1991 = Firearm transfers must be done through a CA FFL dealer.

            01-01-1993 = Intra-familial firearm transfers are exempt from the CA FFL dealer requirement, but must be reported to CA DOJ within 30 days of the transfer.
