can anyone help my blind a** identify this gun?

it was being used in an episode of a television show - i don't see too many stainless steel semi-autos like this one - i know Smith & Wesson have a variety of them but im not convinced that it's a S&W - no safety mechanism, maybe a 2-1/2" to 3" barrel - all the things i love about a conceal carry type firearm

I have a K9, excellent shooter and before its time in being a striker fired, singlestack that works as an appendix carry gun for ccw.

Only issue is that it is priced out of most people's budgets @ $900-1000, especially when comparable polymers can be had in the $350 range
