I really want to get a Professional.

Only ever had 1. Springfield Operator. I got it in trade for a Tula SKS. Then sold it to a friend to fund 2 AR's. I really want it back.
My old boss has a Springfield Loaded. First 1911 I ever shot. He says I get it when he downsizes.

I witnessed a person buying a Springfield Loaded Target in Stainless one time, it looked like a really nice gun, but I would never buy a gun

I am very 1911 fortunate. It was the first platform I dedicated my pistol shooting to and have come to realize it's about the nuances of the pistol.

1) Extended Beaver Tail
2) Front Checkering
3) Extended Safety
4) Target Sights
5) VZ Grips

All this things basically make a sub $1000 1911 shoot as nicely as a $3000 1911

Now in regard to specific 1911's that have no collection value (I have a CMP 1911, and a 1947 made Colt for instance) I prefer to spend my money on Les Baers.

Stared with SA Mil. Spec, then MC Operator, SA Pro, EB, LB, NHC, and finally WC.

My absolutely favorite is the NHC Falcon. Well worth the investment. And the lesser production guns aren’t equal, sorry that’s simply not true.

Love any decent full sized 1911 in either 9mm or .45...not sure why, but they just feel right to me.

My Nieces Mothers Sisters Brother has a Kimber Pro Carry ii in 9mm, that I understand Handles and Shoots Extremely well, for a 6 Year old 1911 with Probably 4000 rnds thru it. I of Course could never Afford one.
