Well Whatever the heck they used at huntington's in Oroville worked like a charm. It was *only laser boresighted* and my first shot with my .308 was at 900+ yards and was dead on using the internal bullet compensator drop marks took out a skeet flyer and was like OMG! I LOVE this rifle

I dunno Guys, my laser one has cerainly saved some time at home vs. the old method of install a scope and take her out & have to mnkey with her for sevral rounds at 50, then several more at 100............

      glockk9mm,

It's possible that your boresighter or the scope mounts might need adjustment. Can't say for sure without seeing it in person. You should try the method ocabj suggested. On your scope, I think the proper procedure is to take a 25 or 50 yard target and shoot one shot. After that, sight the scope back onto the original point of aim and then, holding the rifle steady, move the reticle to the bullet hole. That should get you zeroed depending on for the yardage the target is set to.

Hohoho.... I am using an AimShot laser cartridge-like boresighter.

The core is for .223. And I purchased other arbors for .308 and 50BMG.
To use it, just turn on the laser then load the sighter into chamber. Quick and easy.

Indeed, it costs me hundred something dollars.

If it's a bolt gun, just remove the bolt and look through the barrel as the rifle sits on sandbags. Adjust the scope to the same place and fire one shot at 50 yards. If it takes you more then three more shots to get it dialed in you obviously have no idea how much 'one click' on your scope's turret moves the POI at any given distance.

One shot to see where it's at
One shot to confirm you adjusted it correctly at 100 yards
One shot to confirm your ballistic table is correct at longer distance.

WOW, three shots of your barrel's lifespan wasted! You better put the rifle away right after those three shots before you wear it out. You wouldn't want to shoot it or anything, that might wear it out.

you ran out of adjustment if you cant meet the boresighter crosshairs with your scopes, or your scope rings mount and boresighter are not properly aligned , or a combination of everything.

I have to agree. I've tried a laser boresighter than didn't work. (The laser worked, but the dot was a good foot and a half low at 100 yards. Another guy at the range had a Leupold boresighter that was good for nothing. The better, cheaper and faster way is to shoot at paper.
