    Why are they blocking it to 9 vs not 10?

      Because the seller is extra FUD and doesn’t want to risk blocking to 10 and then someone being able to force 11 into it

          In a poorly blocked 10/30 the bolt can have issues with the mag seating. Plus the legal issues of possibly 11 going into the mag.
