Muzzle brake or flash hider? SAR 4800

    Muzzle brake or flash hider? SAR 4800

    Trying to figure if this is a MB or FH?

    ETA: looks like it's a combo FH/MB from pictures and description on DS Arms website.

    Looks like a flash hider. If the holes are drilled in at an angle then it would be considered a flash hider. If the holes are drill straight in then it's a muzzle brake.

      FN called it a " combo device"..

        Both of those are after market items.

        The pic the OP posted is a factory type muzzle device. It's also used to laurifle grenades. It has the small groove at the rear for the snap ring grenade retention spring.

          Yea I know but was trying to show him the difference with pictures. Now he knows what to look out for and yes the correct word for that is a combo device.
