Wow ask the families of those 2 guys killed at Southland mall last year if they "Feel Good"

If it wasn't for the gang issues and all the kids wanting to get into prison so bad Hayward wouldn't be a bad place to live.

Thats just wrong!!!! Probably taking advantage of people on hard times.
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms. . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

This is exactly what I've been saying all this time while CalGunners accuse buyback programs of aiding criminals to get rid of guns. That's BS!

Really? We have been saying that the gangbangers are turning in their guns at these things? I personally never thought of that. Gangbangers usually have other ways to get rid of stuff and I'm sure if a gangster shows up... Umm there will be some questions asked.. just maybe not about the gun.

I was thinking it would be fun to take photos of the people turning in guns and anonymously post those pics on the internet - with the caption:

"I turned in my guns, and I feel safer now!"

Why not set up a table on the other side of the parking lot and offer people with better pieces better money?

Imagine you're the mother or wife of a deceased gang banger. You now have guns in your home that you don't really want or know how to use, but you don't really know how to get rid of them without exposing yourself to the law or to other danger.

I see these buybacks as good solutions to these sorts of problems. Not only is it good for the person who wants the guns out of their home, but it's also good for the rest of us for these guns to be off the street.

Most of us on this board would never dream of turning our guns in, but you can imagine people in other situations who would.
