Outside of that, anyone going? I figure it'll be a chucklefest to see the prices of ammo AND the people actually buying it.

Now with California DOJ being present, I'll take a hard pass.

It's a fact. I have had 5+ cases where my clients were arrested when crossing into California after undercover DOJ BOF agents observed them buying high cap mags (and other contraband) at the show. Felony stopped them on Hwy 80; the whole 9 yards,etc.

The first case I had was 9 years ago and Im guessing they've been doing it longer than that.

Is that enough for you?

Of course they are there ! Its why the democrat majority write those laws.

As an aside that seems like it would be fun duty ! Travel to an out of state gun show, get paid salary and expenses and put a feather in your cap by making a felony arrest with Zero chance of any conflict !

Friends obey every law passed by the California legislature. Don't like the laws ? Move somewhere else !
