Anodizing Sage EBR Chassis vs Cerakote

I purchased a Sage EBR chassis for my M1A about a year ago and love it.
there are a few dings and dents in the chassis I found but who cares really.
Im thinking about refinishing the outside with some fine glass bead abrasive media then maybe anodizing it rather than cerakote. I like that finish a little better.

anyone know the cost to anodize a full ebr chassis? Is it possible? trying to figure out if its worth it for me.

    thanks!

If you can find somebody, ~$200. That's just an educated guess.

When I looked around last year for a much smaller size job (small frame AR upper receiver), I couldn’t find someone to media blast and I ended up with cerakote.

It wasn’t worth it to me to look into NP3 coat or DLC but if it was a gun I really loved I would have investigated DLC. I have that finish on a pistol and like it a lot.

Yah I love the DLC coating too. I'm thinking about getting the harbor freight medium sandblast container......EBR chassis broken down will fit in pieces.

        I'll look around. Thanks though

probably a good guess if they dont have to breakdown the gun in order to start.

I have one of these and have done a MPA chassis in it without issue. One thing to note is it will blow through your compressor tank real fast. If you have a small tank or a low duty cycle compressor, you might have issues.

Every time I've had stuff anodized for work its basically been a single fee to fill up the tank. 1 thing or 10 things always cost pretty much the same amount if they all fit in the tank at the same time. Cuda's number seems pretty on par with what I'd expect.
