    Light Kits in Liberty Safes

Wasn't sure where to post this. So I have three Liberty Safes (a FatBoyJR XL, and two Colonial 50 models), all three have the light kit, and all three the light kits sag and wont stay Velcroed or whatever to the ceiling inside. Anyone have this happen to them and how did you fix it? I thought maybe a stronger Velcro strip maybe? Glue? Gorilla tape?

I have a Fatboy and its the carpet in mine thats sagging. Haven’t fix it yet, but I plan to either staple the carpet to the safe ceiling or use some short screws.

Look at the carpet, if the carpet is all messed up and the hooks can’t cling, you might have to put zip tie fasteners that have double sided tape on them and cut the carpet and stick the fastener up, then zip tie.

Another thing to check is if the loops have too much carpet material in them that pulled from the carpet, it might not be getting a good bite.

If it’s a fire safe with fire material on top under the carpet. The zip tie fastener option won’t work because it needs a clean non porous surface to stick to.

        This.

        Staples work great.

And every shooter has a staple gun, with lots of cheap ammo.

Gorilla glue. You can also use it as hair jell and for pubic hair waxing.

I installed this kit in my Liberty and Cannon safes, super easy install and very bright, motion activated and batteries last a long time. Uses 3m tape, Velcro or screws with clips as mounting options.

Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

I started using those under-cabinet mounted lights. They are light enough to be mounted with velcro or magnet strips, are bright AF, and have built-in motion sensors.

                    I’m using 2 of these: https://www.amazon.com/Upgraded-Rech...4472511&sr=8-1

But, doing it again, would probably try this set and save $10: https://www.amazon.com/Cabinet-Recha...4472839&sr=8-2

I have the 30 LED version of this and it mounts vertically to the side of the door near the hinges magnetically. Works great.

Ideal for gun safes, closets, cabinets, drawers and corridors, this light bar features long-lasting LED lights.
