Interesting flame pattern on Desert Eagle

Son's wife shooting his Desert Eagle in New Mexico. Interesting catch on the flame.

I've seen smoke do that in my flintlock and a ring going up to 100 feet from tannerite. When the stars align I guess...

First one looks like a Ruger or Hank Williams Jr. Phoenix.
Life was simpler, and more honest, when revolvers and lever actions were the rule.

It's caused by the magnum load of powder, and polygonal rifling. I've shot some with a 44,
I believe they were 200gr projectiles. They haul.
