I just left a 5 Star Yelp Review for this business:

    Good.
They should have done it long ago. Every business especially retail with a front should have arms to protect themselves and the customers from an armed robber.

It ain't nuclear science. A gun in hand is better than the whole force on the phone or on their way to you.

That's why the reviews are meaningless these days and nobody takes them seriously.

Oakland Police Chief: “We don’t want merchants or citizens to arm themselves.”

        WTF?!?!

Racist store owners. They should let the oppressed feed and clothe themselves.

I'll share a little secret. Those merchants are already armed and have been armed for decades. Asian urban businessmen own a lot of guns.

What they really need besides better, dedicated police presence, is training.

Yes but what they are doing now is getting involved. Did anyone hear the police chief say the one thing they don't want to happen is the owners getting guns. The politicians make it so the criminals can commit crimes up to a certain value and remain free. What did the politicians think would happen?

I will be leaving a 5 star review as well.

Koreans, Chinese, and Asians in general have the right idea in keeping their arms under the counter until criminals, bigots, and other malcontents come into their business bent on doing harm. They know the cops will never arrive in time and the only ones who will save them are themselves. Alive and waiting for the cops is better than dead and doing what the cops/politicians want. I have no problem with any community protecting themselves until the cops can prove beyond a doubt they can do better and save more lives. Good luck with that one folks.

Too bad they'll be arrested if they use them to defend themselves or others.

                    Defund the police.
Politicians should only be allowed one term in office, then one term in jail.

The spike in burglaries comes as the SFPD is estimating a nearly $37 million reduction in support from the city's general fund under a two-year budget proposal that will be presented to the San Francisco Police Commission Wednesday

Cops that want to disarm law abiding citizens, should be defunded.

The police are the public and the public are the police; the police being only members of the public who are paid to give full time attention to duties which are incumbent on every citizen in the interests of community welfare and existence.

That chief comes across as a spineless puppet for the city council.

Unfortunately, this person put 4 shots into the air.

As we all know from the 4 Rules of firearms safety, that was definitely a no-no.

He broke 3 of the rules. Oakland Chinatown is some of the most densely occupied areas in N. CA.

I feel bad for him, I really do, but he needs to understand that those 4 bullets are coming back down somewhere in his own neighborhood.

I just hope he is getting free legal assistance, will be no-bailed out and work some community service hours as his max "punishment".

My lord!!! The last thing we needs is for business owners to exercise their 2A right..
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
