Do you own a caliper? Should be easy to compare the size of the breach face, obviously they should be the same. Also, are there any markings on the 35 slide that we can cross reference?

Well to be brief, there's your problem.

What barrel and slide did you get? Also what parts did you fit to the slide?

I did something similar for a 9mm, got a Brownells G34 slide with RMR cut, KKM barrel and Glock OEM slide parts kit. Fitted on my G17. All gen3. It has been running fine with no issues, added a Holosun and still running fine. Getting a new G17 and will permanently use that frame, will need to test it once it gets out of DROS jail.

I got a smoke’n deal on a complete OEM Glock slide once

It didn’t run at all and I replaced the striker and safety plunger with OEM and then it worked fine

^ this! I had a similar experience. Lined everything up on a granite inspection plate and found the aftermarket internals were out of spec when compared to OEM parts.

I should also mention, I swapped the bad parts out with the ones in a stock unmodified gun and the lack of functionality while still there, was less severe so the aftermarket slide itself also contributed to the problem.

Yeah that’s an apparent issue with aftermarket parts in a Glock. See if you can get a stock slide (borrowed).

There’s always a few threads on ppl having issue when they bought a Glock with aftermarket parts.

It seems either the slide or the barrel sits too high in relation to the frame

                      does it feed snap caps?

I could totally see problems with stacking variances of aftermarket parts.

If the Slide is made by company A
The striker is made by company B
The striker cups are made by company C
The safety plunger is made by company D
                        The plunger spring is reduced
                        The striker spring is reduced
                        The frame is OEM

Now you have a hot mess, and don't know where the problems are coming from.

I've built a bunch of glock clones... Never had any problems...

                          Maybe I've been lucky.
