    buy low sell high...
    TURNING and turning in the widening gyre
    The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
    Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
    Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
    The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
    The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity.

    William Butler Yeats 1865-1939

            Yes it's beating a dead horse but oh the stories I could tell about dealing with CGNers. Like having one show up to buy a $750 gun with $10 and begging me to do a layaway plan.

            Or one having me drive 80 miles round trip so he could attempt to sell me a gun he neglected to mention fired when the safety was applied without touching the trigger. No apology, he thought he found a mark. Then caught him badmouthing me here.

            Or cancelling 1/2 a days plans to sell a CGNer a gun and then they low-ball me in person after agreeing to a price and seeing multiple pictures of the gun. Luckily my last few transactions have been with stand up guys.

              Also the WTS handgun section, some people are saying their guns is off rooster and bump it up %150 of their worth, but half the time, the gun IS on the rooster, what scummy car salesman tactic!!
              Anything you guys notice that is such scum moves in order to sell?

              Sorry but I gotta ask...how and in what way does this impact you? Other than making you mad.

              The item is up for a year with no takers. The market on the site has spoken and said no. If I see a price I don’t like I make a offer or simply move on. Look how many times we have gone through these shortages and panic buys. I’ve dealt with a few so so cal gunners but the vast majority were great. Granted i haven’t sold anything on here a while but I started doing a garage clean out and found a big box of holsters, ammo pouches and belts. I’ll put them on here but I’m not asking huge prices. I just wanna sell them rather than having them dry rot in a attic. S9me f the really cheap stuff I’ll give away.

                Agreed it shouldn't matter, but bumping the same over priced firearms for months on end just clogs up the market place. If it's not sold within a couple weeks it's over priced.

                  Clogs it up? If I'm looking for something I run a search....

                        I gave up for a while too for those reasons. It's kind of happening again too. Some good people, others not so much.

                          If I ran a search for every gun I'd possibly be interested in I'd be here for hours. It's nice when not clogged up with nonsense bumps, shills and prices beyond silly being bumped in some cases for over a year.

                              Me either but I like to get a bargain and I like to track down rare guns I recently picked up a gun here with little hassle that I had looked for for 20+ years.

                                My current tastes are retro AR builds so Cal guns classifieds is useless for that kind of thing. It was WW2 rifles before that, but that was back when FTF for C and R was legal so you could buy a rifle from some rando in a parking lot. The good old days.

                                Calguns classifieds are all telling me how great some Noveske/PSA/BCM carbine is...cool story bro. *air jerk*
