33.3 calcatch

bought a new Ddm4v7lw came w/ a 33.3 calcatch. It’s crazy simple and I way prefer it to the juggernaut or Ar Maglock (no offense - great cal gunners companies I’d imagine)

DD won’t sell me an exstra one. As far as I have gathered someone sued 33.3 out of business.

Anyone know where I can find one? If they were sued out of business does that mean that essentially the same design is available under a different name? Thanks

If I had a work shop I would. It’s stupid simple and works way better than my other mag locking options

Not trying to inflame a sore spot here. But do we know how? It’s simpler and different from Juggernaught even though they work on the same part it’s different. And WAY different than my AR Maglock

You dont need a work shop just a dremel or sander. Ive made a similar mag lock it worked but i abandoned it after freedom week. It was a bit crude but I did it half asd.

Here are some ideas. If you look at tbe original cal catch you can see it is just slightly machined to fit the little catch beak.
