i got a mossburg 500 12 gauge combo set. 28 inch barrel modified choke. 18 inch barrel cylinder bore. can i shoot rifle slugs out of these barrels. i want to be safe and not cause damage to my shotgun. any suggestions. thank you

You might get better/more responses over in the shotgun forum. But, based upon what you typed, unless there is something I do not know about your choke, you should be able to shoot slugs out of that gun.
