    Outdoor eye protection recommendations?

STNGR ballistic sunglasses (Alpine), but do any of you have specific recommendations? Ideally sunglasses that provide real protection (shatter resistant, etc.).

Aging eyes suck. Especially with astigmatism.

I have a pair of Smith Attack MAG Max that I really like. I don't like that I had to buy the clear lens separately though.

I wear a pair of these. You can find them for less than listed on their site.

I bought my prescription in an aviator style sunglass with polycarbonate lenses from Zenni Optical. I think it was something like $40 out the door.

If you don't need a prescription, look into the cheap sunglasses from Costco with UV projection. I think the lenses are polycarb on some.

Both Oakley and Rudy project have photochromic lenses, the Oakleys get darker than Rudy Project. They can be used indoor or out. And can also be made with prescription lenses. The Oakleys will take a higher prescription that the RP's.

How about put on a hat/visor with your clear eye pro? Cheaper than new glasses.

I have a Rayban Clubmaster. It got bombarded with a .45, .357, .38, 9mm shells, and dropped it a hundred times. Still intact and no scratches

I want a pair of sunglasses, and some of these recommendations look awesome. Now I just want more of that mythical ammo I hear so much about!

Frames are $10, lenses and coatings add. I think I waited for a holiday sale.

Hey, these look pretty good! Since I will probably only wear these when at the range twice a month, these seem to be an excellent value. I got the photochromic lenses. Thanks for the recommendation!
