My last 2 orders have gone out the door in a few days. I have always checked inventory to see that they were in stock or and not on its last few. Prices are right (lowest) too...

Always verify the availability and order based off that, they are pretty good about back orders. Sometimes I call them and they can give you better estimates.

Nope, still take weeks to ship an "in stock" item. Don't respond to multiple online order cancellation requests.

I learned a lesson never to buy from them for time-sensitive items. Even items that are listed as "In Stock".

Placed 5 orders with them. 4 order where they have in stock, all shipped within 2 days. 1 order was on a 3-6 month estimate, shipped in 1 month waiting.

The only way to buy from Optics Planet is going to their ebay store and buying from there while keeping an eye on shipping times.

ebay absolutely punishes the seller who ships later than the deadline or cancels because of out-of-stock situation, so you're going to get your stuff reasonably fast.

If we lived in 1971 East Germany, I’d say sure, keep on trying the only store we can buy from. But we have too many options today to need to try bad companies again and again. They stay bad because people keep giving them money. Obviously.
