Warranty on Glock, Kahr, Springfield?

Does anyone have any experience with the warranty on Glocks, Kahrs, or Springfields?
Glocks only come with an official 1 year warranty but I've heard that they repair them for the lifetime of the pistol and even if it's from nornal wear and tear. However, having had no personal experience with this I'm wondering if it's in fact true or if it's just Glock propaganda? Kahr only warrants for 5 years and haven't heard anything about them, good or bad. Springfield warrants for life but excludes wear and tear and I've heard that they say everything is from wear and tear and not cover anything in the end, but again I have no personal experience with Springfield either.

No experience with either but Glocks are serviceable unless you have frame or slide cracks. Once altered or modified, warranty is void.

Kahr offers limited lifetime on some of their pistols (PM, P, K series) but I can see them still extending it to those with 5-year like CW, CM series.

Springfield offers the best warranty if you have to ever use it, from what I’ve read.

Pistols will either work or let you know there's a problem right away, definitely while under warranty.

Of all the guns I've owned, the only 2 pistols I have that needed warranty service exposed their problems the first I fired them. Another pistol that I sold a friend (Beretta 92F) eventually had a small part break, but was repaired with a $29 part.

So just buy the gun you want and shoot it. Quit over thinking it like you're buying a minivan.
