It could be the Addax OR it could be this one, made by ASA (or maybe Addax uses ASA uppers on their builds.) It is a billet upper with a non-reciprocating side-charging handle.

It is an ASA Side Charging Upper Receiver, I am not sure who built the rifle..

We use the ASA Side Charging Upper Receiver on our Side Charging Gas Piston Uppers. They make them with M4 feed ramps for us, and they are an excellent upper.

I have an American Spirit Arms upper I bought many years ago. I thought they went out of business, since almost no one I've talked to has ever heard of them. But, I guess I was wrong:

The original owner ran the company into the ground.

The new owner and management team have worked very hard to re build the company and reputation by building high quality AR parts and rifles.

I am very happy with their side charger. It has yet to fail on me and two test units I shipped to field testers.
