Are parts kits legal to buy in Italy?

Are there any restrictions on any gun parts for Italy? I've sent some scope rails and rings before but that's about it.

Someone wanted to buy one of my kits at auction. I want to make sure the buyer can buy the parts. It's a yugo parts kit. Ok to ship to Italy?

    Q. Ok to ship to Italy? A. No.
You can't sell gun parts outside of the United States unless you have an export license/permits from the U.S Gov't.

Italian gun law requires a person to have a firearms license, and may only own a pistol or rifle which can be used for sporting purposes. All military ammo calibers are banned including 9x19mm.

Sounds like your potential buyer is up to no good.

I thought I read that somewhere before. I didn't even list it as worldwide.

              No, No, NO!

Not only will you have a potential problem with ATF and the DOS for exporting "Weapon Parts" w/o a permit, Italy has very strict lawws wrt importing firearms "parts" in any way, shape or form. I tried to ship a Pachmeyer grip to a friend in Italy and it turned into a bit of a problem on his end, and this was 20 years ago.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.
