    Raffle by Fresno gun shop

One of the local Fresno gun shops is trying to gauge interest in a raffle for a m1 grand rifle value at about $3,500

The shop would raffle the rifle off with ONLY 50 tickets sold at a $100 a piece.

If the shop does this idea would my local Fresno Calgun people be interested in tickets?

It had better be an M1D NM with original scope and one of John Browning's baby teeth.

The idea was just brought up today at the Fresno pistol club swap meet.

Somebody would get a sweet M1 for a $100 bucks the raffle drawing would be done live on a Saturday at the gun shop.

Idea would be that when it was set up you would go in and see the rifle than purchase your raffle ticket if interested.

Would only need to sell a min of 30 tickets and a maximum of 50 tickets.

I thought it was a neat idea I would gamble a $100 for the chance; so I was just sharing this to see what the interest level would be.

If I were in Fresno I probably would. I'm not much of a gambler, not at all really - but those odds would be pretty good for something I would actually want!

                To put it mildly.

Do you have any pictures? Make, SN, etc. Saying it's a Garand is the same as saying raffle for car. It could be anything from a Yugo to a Ferrari.

Again I was just judging the interest not selling any tickets yet etc.

I will advise the details when they do the raffle and anybody can go by and check it out. 50 tickets will sell really fast

                      Thx
