What malfunction caused this ND

That was bizarre. Can't wait to hear the final verdict on this.
Although it appeared he did everything to properly clear the gun, he never looked at the chamber to
verify it was clear.
Ignored a couple of the golden rules.

The guy seems like an idiot to me. He flagged his buddy multiple times with the silver gun and then seemed to be having an awful lot of trouble trying to show clear on his own carry gun. A gun which he presumably carries and clears on a daily basis.
I’m not sure he ever got the round out of the chamber. He dropped the mag and then fiddled with the slide a bunch and eventually stuck his finger in the trigger guard and shot his friend.my Benitez goes to 11Comment

I'm guessing when he dropped the mag, the top round of the mag fell out but stayed in the mag well. When he did his half-assed job of racking the slide, the round fell out of the mag well and he assumed that was the chambered round. Then he fumbled around with a loaded gun until his dumb *** pulled the trigger. That's the only explanation I can think of that makes any sense.Last edited by Crumble619; 01-19-2021, 6:16 PM.Comment

I'm confused. He dropped the mag and set it on the table then proceeds to clear the chamber. A round is then placed on the table which I assumed was the chambered round.
Wth happened here? Obviously there was a round in the chamber when if fired so he either chambered a new round or never extracted the first one.
If it was the former, how? The mag was already out. If it was the latter, where did the round on the table come from.
Crumble's theory is really possible, but wouldn't the loose round just drop out from the bottom?
Crazy. I know its an ND but this is borderline AD imo.Comment

Translated: Then, according to the note, a bullet stuck in the ammunition chamber. The partner "tried to get the ammunition out of the chamber three more times, at which point the gun accidentally went off, bouncing off the club counter twice and shooting his friend in the abdomen." The club claims that it accompanied the victim to the hospital and has since provided all assistance.
I'm guessing the finger was on the trigger, you can see him short stroking the slide. Also pointed in the wrong direction. Should have taken the malfunctioning gun into the range when a live round is "stuck" in the chamber.Comment

What caused the ND? Simple...a moron with a gun, and an appendix carry "operator" to boot...LMAO"Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice. Moderation in pursuit of justice is no virtue." ----Sen. Barry Goldwater

First malfunction, that not a safe fiddle zone. Why do they allow monkeying around with live ammo on the counter?
Second, if you are clearing a firearm, check the chamber. Lock it back, insert your finger in there and make sure its empty.Comment
