FSC expiring between DROS and pickup?

DROSing a long gun in the morning, FSC expires before the 10 day wait period is over. Can I just start the DROS and renew before pickup ?

After showing proof of residence and FSC to start the DROS, I don't remember having to show FSC during pick up. Just your DROS paperwork and ID.

You don’t show your FSC when picking up firearm. It’s only needed to purchase. Only thing you need is ID to verify you are the correct person picking up.

Last time was at Big 5
Just needed to find what hours the employee works that can give you the test.
He just said anytime he was in.
Smaller town so not sure about you big city folk.

Did a fast look and found this, so yes be safe and get a new FSC card.
Most likely same for handgun.
