Daniel Defense does have excellent chf barrels, but If your Bcm’s barrel is already cold hammer forged, I wouldn’t even bother with the DD.

Just get a regular DD without the gimmick paint job

Not sure, but the add-ons appear to add value beyond buying the same later on?

Edit: for $61 more than the basic DDM4 V7 you get Radian Raptor ambi charging handle, Magpul Pro BUIS, Magpul sling, and Troy ambi mag release.

and, joking aside.

I would put those two rifles in the same category of quality. If I'm not mistaken the DD commands a slightly higher price (retail anyway.) So, if it were a trade I'd trade to the DD. But, assuming the price of the BCM is slightly lower than the price of the DD I place the BCM at a better value. I would not pay more for the DD over the BCM. I see no reason to not be perfectly happy with either.

The real answer is, nice rifles both, keep both. Let the wife choose which one is hers.
