                Mix and match is the norm for me, only real sense of consistency is making sure the furniture's all the same color and that's about it.

                    I generally choose the most economical route because I'd rather build more guns for the same $, don't care if brands match or not. I do buy good stuff though where it counts, like Superlative adjustable gas blocks and specific sights/optics, but for example there's rarely a need to splurge on a specific stock when the $40 Magpul will do just fine most of the time, and when you can get 3 or 4 of those stocks for the price of one fancy pants stock, well...
