I live near Palm Springs, and the one guy who does cerakoting in my neck of the woods isn't taking on business. But I've got a kit-build AK that I wanted to get a matte black cerakote job done with.
I'm going to be visiting my folks in Vista/Oceanside in a few days and was looking to maybe drop the gun off at a shop around north San Diego County. I'm not too concerned about the turnaround time for the work, but was hoping to pay $250ish tops for the work (receiver, dust cover, barrel, gas block, rear sight block, bolt carrier).
I emailed a few weeks ago and called these guys in San Marcos called Ceratek Firearms https://www.cerakotefirearms.com/ but never heard back from them.
Anyone got some other suggestions for cerakote shops in the area?
