In February 2020 our founder, Jeffrey Wallace, passed away from a heart attack. The Gun Room closed our doors December 31, 2020.

I suspect though, with the investment in the Range all ready to just be occupied by a solvent business someone else will be motivated to come in and make something of it.

I'm of the thought that a CA gun store can be a cash cow. It's not like we have them all over the place like in free states and they are like liquor stores, and only sell crap guns.

Very sorry for the circumstances. Hopefully someone can get the store going again. Always liked going there.

If all the infrastructure is in place, It is likely that some enterprising person would come in and reopen. There's definitely a demand for an indoor range.

Many cities require all kinds of permit...restriction on location, etc. Do the owners plan on selling it...or trying to maintain the permits to allow it to open again? I know some uses have Conditional Use Permits that expire, usually in 2-6 months if the business is closed...

I tried my first gun purchase there looking for a Beretta 90-TWO.

They literally laughed at me (since I was a newb and didn't know about the roster BS). I left there sort of pissed at them.

Vowed I would own a 90-TWO someday and went looking for one recently and found out that hmm, seems the roster preventing me from buying a loser gun.
