If 300 win mag is safe, so is 300 Weatherby.
They share the same breech diameter.
TC sold 300 win mag Encore barrels so they think they are safe.
If you go look at the pressure limits on the winchester vs the weatherby, they are very close together.
Their pressures are so close together that the engineered strength of a 300 win mag firearm should easily handle a 300 Weatherby.
If you reload, you can stick to 64,000psi loads instead of the full 65,000psi that the SAAMI 300 Weatherby standard allows.
