Help me pick out my next gun

Hey all...

A month ago I quit dipping tobacco after 35 years.
The wifey told me that if I quit, I could get any gun I wanted, no questions asked.
While I long for a NEMO OMAN, that isn't going to happen. I need to be real.
One gun I really want is a Ruger Toklat, but I can't find one anywhere, even on GunBroker.com.
I shoot a lot and I reload as well. Hunt big game, squirrels, practice defensive hadgun and tactical rifle.
Long range shooting is my favorite and part of me wants to build a nice 300PRC.

I am totally stumped on what to get. I have everything that covers all my bases and then some... I guesss this is a good problem to have...

Get a Desert Tech MDRX 308 bullpup. They make them in California compliant.

I see you're up in Big Bear, I grew up in Lake Arrowhead, lived there for 21 years, moved to Claremont, Costa Mesa, Oceanside and Laguna Niguel before moving to South Carolina. I miss the mtns.

Do you still have to pay for it yourself or is she hooking you up? If it's coming out of your own budget, I'm not sure how crazy you want to get.

Since you want the Toklat, I’d say keep searching. Alternatively, have Bowen build you something similar to your exact wants and wishes...

I honestly didn't know what the 'Ruger Toklat' was, but yes, that is a sexy revolver!

If you reload, something like a CMP Garand would be a darn good idea - they are a lot of fun (every time I've shot a M14, they're all tacticooled out, and they just don't run as naturally to me as a Garand).
