Mine has always ran well. Shoots ok out to 50 yards through a regular AR barrel. Shoots great out of my Taccom 16" dedicated 22lr barrel.

They hate republicans that much and are in that level of denial about what their party is about. They just simply can't handle the cognitive dissonance...." -Skilletboy

I've got one, it runs fine in a standard AR upper. I use the Taccom pressure plug in front of the buffer

That said - the Hk 416 22lr is hard to beat at $399 sale at Sportsmans so I picked one of those up last week

Seriously nice rifle - all aluminum upper and lower. And still in stock!

          Thanks brothers
          All good input
I saw that HK and missed the sale at 379 but can’t resist it and 399 is still a great price

Mine was hot garbage, until i swapped in a few bore buddy parts and polished the chamber. It's 100% now with any ammo.

Mine works great. I too use a buffer plug in the rear in front of the buffer to add more forward pressure to the cmmg bolt.

It works but wildly inaccurate. My bolt broke at a weld after about 1k round. I tossed it.

The Ceiner version shows up on Ebay sometimes. I have one that I bought used from a Calgunner. It works fine except with Aguila HV, doesn't want to extract reliability. Accuracy at 50 yards is fine enough for plinking out of a 1/7 twist.

I wasted a lot of ammo with those until I bought the real .22LR barrel. I used old Ceiner conversion bolts. I replaced the head and now I hit stuff well.

I'm OCD about keeping my rifle's fastidiously clean.

I didn't want to foul up my 5.56 barreled upper nor plug the gas tube when I installed the CMMG 22lr conversion kit, but I wanted to use my real AR lower, so I just bought another low cost upper and installed the CMMG conversion kit in that...a dedicated 22lr upper that I can swap on the lower and which i didn't care about gunking up. You'll always have more cleaning to do after shooting .22lr.

I also might add that I could have probably bought a dedicated AR 22 for nearly the price of the upper, but I like the versatility of the AR platform as I can also shoot 9mm using the same lower by swapping a 9mm upper and a 9mm magazine well adapter and a few other parts. The AR 15/M4 is a perfect multi-use platform and a space saver if you are short on safe storage for dedicated rifles.
