Send her home address to all the upstanding armed thieves who only want to steal everything she owns without harming anyone with that loaded firearm they tucked into their pants.

Why is this important to her and the people she represents?

The new text basically says you have a duty to retreat if possible.

Also if you own the place you can use deadly force if needed, your invited guest cannot.

Does this mean I just have to bury the body instead of calling the social workers (formerly police)?

There were a few threads on this a while back. I just talked to my brother in Houston he said there is a trash of muggings and daylight robberies at sams club and costco. Thugs jump you and take groceries and goods and money and sometime lead pipe you.. I told him carry the sig and don't pull unless they are armed then pull and kill em.

Old news, several threads on this already. 196 has a snowball's chance in He11 of passing.

Seems there are loons everywhere these days - even in Texas politics.

Oh stupid me. It's only an incentive when the person puts a gun to my head. Got it.

In Texas, State Representative Terry Meza (D-Irving) has introduced HB196. Her bill would repeal the state's "castle doctrine." This doctrine allows a homeowner to use deadly force against an armed intruder who breaks into his home.
This has been covered before. I live in Texas.

Democrats introduce anti gun bills every single year.

                        They NEVER pass.

The Democrats in the House are outnumbered. The Senate, as a stop gap, is a Republican majority. The Governor is a pro-gun Republican who has signed in over a dozen pro gun laws in recent years.

These anti gun type of laws never make it to committee.

Those leftist wackos gain track faster in some states than others. I hope mine will be one of the last.

Pointing to legislation that is *introduced* in TX, is like, e.g., pointing to legislation that would make CA a "shall issue," often *introduced* in CA...

When it gets to comities, passes, gets some support, gets to a realistic possibility of a vote, then (and only then) it should become a news.
