CA Ammo rules, really getting on my nerves.

So, I am going to be visiting a friend in Texas in January and also will be helping him with some pig issues he has by hunting them.

So, being out of ammo I get on Graf & Sons website and order several boxes of 9.3x74R ammo to be shipped to his place.

They couldn't process the transaction because the billing address was CA even though the ammo was going to TX.

So, now he will have to get the ammo and I will have to reimburse him. What a hassle.

Soon, and I will be glad to move out of this libtard dominated State.

In addition to that, having to buy ammo from an FFL after a background check is ridiculous. Kids used to ride their bikes to a hardware store and buy a box of 22s back in the day.

I remember seeing seeing ammunition in gas station markets in the Sierras on backpacking trips in the 60's and 70's.

There are a handful of companies that will ship to addresses other than the billing address.

The trick is.....you call and ask them what their policy is 1st.

        Midway is one of them.

Buy a visa or mastercard gift card or e-gift card online and load it up with the exact cost of your order. You have to register the card online and you enter the shipping and billing address as whatever you want so they match. I was told this tip here on CG. It works!

ETA: Yes! Midway ships! As does SGAmmo. Many do not. I am not staying at my billing address right now and found this out via trial and error. They don't take any excuses either, it seems.

I've walked into stores in the desert, strapped with a fully loaded revolver. All they ask was, if "shooting was good"?

Since the gun grabbers can't take everything in one fell swoop, they'll just nibble away until the old guys die off and the youngsters don't have the gumption to fight.

I think its Lone Pine that has the log cabin look gas station on the west side of the 395. I remember going up to Mammoth in the late 70s and seeing handguns in a glass case/counter for sale.

California used to be a nice place to live.

It is so ridiculous that several LGS have literally told us to just go into the parking lot because they wont want to waste time doing a PPT for only $1...

Ive gone to LGS several times and wanted to buy a couple boxes, then decided "naw its too much hassle to wait another 20 minutes for this stupid BGC"...

                        FATF and Fnewsome....

I am impressed with the ballistics of that cartridge you mention, 3,400 Ft.Lbs of energy. I take it you're not planning on taking any bacon from those hogs.
