Kind of BS??? Gun stores refusing to let you know prices

this is an interesting thread. Lots of so-called conservatives in here whining and feeling entitled. Sounds like the OP walked up to the front of a 2hr line and then came here to whine that the guy wouldn't do him a favor and go inside and price check things for him? What is he, your butler? I'm all for good customer service, but no way I'd expect any employee to spend his entire day entertaining tire kickers (which would be non-stop all day long) skipping the line when they are that busy. I'm only posting because I see a lot of this attitude on here, as if as gun supporters we deserve to have our @$$ kissed by every LGS. Was it an unreasonable request? No, there was no harm in asking. Was it pansy to then go complain about it because he wouldn't do it? Yes it was.

From the OP...

I ask the door guy, "hey, can you tell me if you even have a Kali-9 in stock?". He answers back..."I can tell you if I have one, but I'm not giving you the price".


Does not sound like OP asked for a favor. Sounds like the LGS worker volunteered that he will not state a price.

I was not there so I will read and take it at face value. If this is indeed how it went down, I would have left as well.

No kidding. I swear the sense of entitlement and toxicity on this board rivals the Fortnite spats I hear my 8 year old getting into on xBox.

Guy posts a story (for which I can think of NO conceivable reason to make up) but for his own reasons doesn't want to out the store. Result, buncha yokels are denied their ability to vent their keyboard rage at a LGS (which would be 100% meaningless anyway).

So, they redirect their anger at OP like a buncha children.

Normally, the LGS is mentioned in biatching posts to help others from wasting their time at the same store.

the purpose was for OP to get his e-penis stroked. he wanted us to all be "oh no, poor baby. that LGS is wrong" and then comfort him.

or another phrase that is now what the kids use is "karma-whoring"

posting up a sad story to get others on the internet to give condolences and sympathy.

by not providing the store name, then what is even the purpose of making this thread? so OP is only as offended to make this post, but not offended enough to prevent other people from experiencing the same bad service.

this would be like me posting up a story about how a LGS damaged my gun during a 10 day wait, then not naming the store so other people will get their guns damaged too.

Encountering a rude LGS staff is not even remotely close to damaging personal property.

Yeah....you've been here all of 63 posts to casting shade on the motives of a member who has here before we were Calguns and still TFL.

I posted this experience because in my 30 years of collecting guns, I've never had this experience and thought I'd share.

And I'm sticking to my guns (so to speak) about not "outting" the store as
1) they aren't here to defend themselves
2) I don't subscribe to punishing a business due to the bad attitude of one sales person, esp since I've gone there for almost 10 years.
