Start shooting anywhere outside and it's free.
    (Till the cops show up)

    j/k

There is a thread about ranges in the Temecula area here.

      1. Download and install a copy of Google Earth
      2. Go to this thread and download the latest shooting range file
      3. Double click on the file to open it or Open Google Earth\Go to File Open\Browse to where you saved the file and select it,
      4. Once it is open in Google Earth,go to the Outdoor (desert/forest) and see what's nearby.

From a quick look it looks like the Palomar Divide Rd. shooting area isn't too far from temecula.

              LOL

Yeah, and the targets might return fire.

There is suppose to be some sort of super secret BLM spot in Corona I never did figure out where it was at. I have a feeling it may need 4wd access though.

There used to be a spot off Lake Street in Lake Elsinore, but the county closed off access. I wonder if it is still legal to shoot there because I think it is BLM land. However, it might be a 2 mile hike in.

I have a spot where I go in my local area. However, I do not tell anybody where it is because of all the trash.

I take out bags of trash each time I go.
